Before
The previous owners had boys and really went all out with the army/ camo themes in both of the spare bedrooms. Bradley was nice enough to take the smaller of the two rooms, since I amputting two desks, a bookcase and an elliptical machine in my office.
After
First we painted his office a chocolate brown (Pepper Spice by Glidden) and he decided on orange as his accent color. We were hard pressed to find orange curtains, so we finally found a table cloth when all the fall colors were out that my mom cut down and made into tab-topped panels. The ceiling fan in his office was originally in what is to be my office. We sold the one that was in his office at our yard sale. His desk was a Birthday gift from his grandparents a couple of years ago. He also has one of the $35 club chairs that we found on Craigslist in his office.
He has hopes to get some different art work. The painting behind his desk is one we had used at the apartment and has the orange in it, but he is not crazy about it. We bought a couple small Ansel Adams prints on Craigslist, but have not hung them yet. We both feel that our offices are the most unfinished rooms in the house, so we hope to get them more personalized and polished looking.
