I had a lot of fun decorating for Christmas yesterday. I got the tree put up and the nativities put out. That meant I also got the house kind of cleaned up. Bonus! Here is a quick shot of the tablescape with the tree in the background.
The only souvenirs we bring home from vacations are Christmas ornaments, so I get to reminisce about our trips each year as I put up the tree. So far we have a ball with cherry blossoms from Washington, DC, a ball from the Grand Canyon, a gold dipped Redwood leaf from Muir Woods and a gold dipped grape vine leaf from Sonoma, a shell from Navarre Beach, and a seashell ornament from Nassau. I also have our wedding ornaments and one I got last year for our first year in our home. What can I say, I’m sentimental.

I think Habitual Rearranger fits me well because I am never settled on designs, colors, or placement of items in our home. I drive Bradley crazy sometimes, but I keep figuring out new and better ways of doing things! I am not striving to be profound or an expert on anything in this blog. I am a born and raised Georgia girl. I don't think I would enjoy living anywhere except the south. Bradley and I spent six and a half years in our starter home and are now in our forever home, a 1970s traditional two story brick house. I love getting into all kinds of projects around our house, and I try to document all the dirty details here if for no one else than for me.
