Weekend Project

This weekend, I decided to do a full overhaul in my cloffice (office in a closet).  It has been in total disarray for a while now and has been driving me bonkers.  It all started when I took the closet doors down to give them a fresh coat of paint and change out the door knobs.  I loved the open feeling and the light I was getting in my cloffice, so I devised a plan to use curtains to close up the cloffice if we have guests, but keep it open and airy for my everyday use.  This led to a full-scale demolition followed by paint (chosen two shades lighter than the room color) and more small shelves on the right side of the cloffice for storage.  Both printers fit on the shelves to the left so out with the make-shift printer stand and I was able to center the desk.  The only thing I could not do anything about was all of the cords.  Printers, iPhone, computer, tv, dvr, dvd, and light oh my! Oh well…  It is still 100x better than before!

I think Habitual Rearranger fits me well because I am never settled on designs, colors, or placement of items in our home. I drive Bradley crazy sometimes, but I keep figuring out new and better ways of doing things! I am not striving to be profound or an expert on anything in this blog. It is simply a way to keep a record of all of my adventures - home and life - for me to reference and also for my loved ones to follow along. I am a born and raised Georgia girl. I don't think I would enjoy living anywhere except the south. Bradley and I spent six and a half years in our starter home and are now in our forever home, a 1970s traditional two story brick house. I love getting into all kinds of projects around our house, and I try to document all the dirty details here if for no one else than for me.
