Over my long Christmas weekend, I worked on the cabinet in our half bathroom. After re-staining the cabinet in our guest bathroom as a trial run, I felt comfortable doing another.
This vanity, like all the other cabinetry in the house was oak. Very country, very outdated and all around not our style. I decided to paint this vanity instead of re-staining and I think it turned out really nice. The paint color is Behr Revival Mahogany in a semi-gloss finish. You can still see the wood grain which I like. I also changed the hinges to brushed nickel to match the knobs we added to the cabinet when we first moved in.
